As the finale of the trilogy, The Matrix Revolutions does a fine job.
The computer-generated graphics is stunning, especially the siege of Zion. The Wachowski brothers are definitely influenced by a lot of Japanese animation (which is confirmed in the bonus features contained in The Matrix Reloaded DVD).
The kung fu is still great. But I don’t like the fight scene between Neo and Agent Smith at the end, because it is too much like “Dragonball Z”.
Speaking of the action scenes, Collin Chou, who plays Seraph, looks so cool in the film. He had only one fight scene with Keanu Reeves in The Matrix Reloaded, but a lot of action in the finale.
The story is a bit … unclear. As I recall, the Wachowski brothers already said that there will be no further sequels to this series (except for the online game The Matrix Online which is expected to launch in 2004). Then why do they leave the ending open as it is?
Anyway, there will be hundreds, or even thousands, of articles published on the internet about this trilogy (one of the sites is Matrix Essays, and the official website has a section on philosophy), we will see.
