Very “Woody Allen”. Jerry (Jason Biggs) is a writer for stand-up comedian, who lives with a “every-man-wants-to-sleep-with-her” bitch Amanda (Christina Ricci). The whole story is just about how Jerry is manipulated by Amanda (e.g. not having sex with him; her mother Paula (Stockard Channing) living with them), by his business associate Dobel (Woody Allen), his agent Harvey (Danny de Vito) and his psychiatrist.

The dialogues between Jerry and Dobel are amusing (some may say it is not as funny as Woody Allen used to be).

I just do not understand why Ricci always plays a sexy bitch (the most recent part should be in Miranda which was shown in HKIFF last year), it is just not convincing to me.
