Declaration of Trust

James To’s signed declaration of trust is a bit too simple. Every solicitors’ firm in Hong Kong has a standard form that can be printed on a single A4 paper. He just needed to call his own secretary to get a standard form printed for him, nice and tidy.

Of course, the more important question is whether it is appropriate for the Democratic Party to rent its property to its members and get the rental payment from the government, whilst the amount of rent might not be the open market value.

I have not changed my mind, though. I will still cast my vote for James To on 12 September, unless this “scandal” really destroys him. I do not want my vote wasted. You will not get my vote, Mr. Tsang.
