Both trad. and simp. Chi. locale are available in CyanogenMod.

I haven't updated my G1 for a while (it's still in v.4). The latest version of CyanogenMod for G1 is 5.0.8 and can be downloaded from <a href="http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/394-cyanogenmod-5-for-dreammagic-mean-lean-pastry-machine-v508-06192010/" rel="nofollow">the official forum</a>

Hello Alan,

May I ask a question.

Is there traditional / simplified Chinese locale in CyanogenMod? and what is the version of CyanogenMod on your G1?

I don't have Milestone anymore (swapped with a Nexus One with a friend), so I cannot test it for you.

1. The only setting about this is in Sound & display > Brightness > check "Automatic brightness"

2. This never happened to me. Are you using a lot of widgets?

3. This did not happen to me either

4. I don't use that type of app much, the only one I know is "Voice Recorder" written by Mamoru Tokashiki.
