As a Google-phillic, I like this idea, but of course the copyright-holders think otherwise.

Google now suspends the scanning of books until November this year, whilst continuing to sell the idea to the public.

Here are some facts about the book:

  • The recommended price is GBP16.99 / US$29.99
  • The book is “a bit shorter” than Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix
  • Within 12 hours of the announcement of its publication date, the book has become the No.1 best seller in Amazon and Barnes and Noble
