Syndication, what is that?
I have never understood the difference between the various kind of syndication: RSS, Atom, whatever, or which one is better. Just like Mike, I just place the links, both RSS and Atom, on my site in case someone who knows how to use these things may benefit from it.
As a reader, I seldom use feed aggregator. All I have is an account with Bloglines. I guess I have also tried AmphetaDesk, but that is all. I prefer to surf to the site and enjoy the contents and design together. But as I am reading more and more blogs, perhaps I will start using an aggregator.
How Many Zeroes Are There?
Many users in Orkut claimed that their Gmail account quota has been boosted from 1,000 MB to 1,000,000 MB (or a tetrabyte, though someone pointed out that 1 tetrabyte should be equal to 1,048,576 MB). Some people are putting up theories of this change.
My account quota still reads 1,000 MB (well, I have not received any notice that I can send 2 invitations, nor the Mother’s Day invitation notice, which many users have received).
(Update 19.05.2004@15:33): Just minutes after I published this post, there were Orkut users saying that their quota has just dropped back to 1GB. So perhaps it was only an error.
I’m loving it
