It is always interesting to “see fire burning on the opposite riverbank” ( 隔岸觀火 ). After the political turmoil in Hong Kong in early July this year, I enjoy seeing how things will proceed in the California Governor’s race, with Arnold Schwarzenegger being one of the candidates. The most interesting aspect is how the citizens react.

Blawg
According to The Blawg Ring, a blawg (pronounced as you think it should be) is a frequently-updated website dealing with legal issues, or the issues of people in the legal profession, or both.
There are currently 261 members listed in its directory. Judging from those brief descriptions, most of the members are U.S.-based, including law students, practitioners, law librarians, professors, and retired judge.
As commonly seen in other webrings, although there is a common theme (“legally inclined” in the ring), the individual topics are wide-ranging, e.g. animal rights law in Wisconsin.
If you want to study law in the States
then try JD2B. It has a lot of links to law schools info, ranking, and law students’ blogs. All US stuff, I think.
